The first time I went abroad on my own was in 2015. My school, Claremont McKenna College, granted me a stipend for an unpaid internship in Chiang Mai as long as I kept a blog and wrote a research paper. I had never read or written any blogs and didn’t own a real camera, but it pushed me to begin documenting my journey across the globe.

Since then, I have traveled to almost 30 countries and love learning more about the world and meeting people from all walks of life. It’s refreshing to glean from these experiences and have a deeper understanding of other cultures, challenge my own beliefs, and see firsthand how the world is interconnected.

I hope this blog inspires you to also venture out of your comfort zone!
