BRIEF ABOUT XIANGXI The Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture (Chinese: 湘西土家族苗族自治州; pinyin: Xiāngxī Tǔjiāzú Miáozú Zìzhìzhōu) is an autonomous prefecture of the People’s Republic of China (Thanks Wikipedia). The capital city is Jishou has a population of roughly 2,500,000, of which 67% are ethnic minorities- the Tujia and the Miao.
